Your dog will stay in a loving, home-based environment—not a kennel—where they’ll receive personalized, one-on-one training every day complete with daily structure, socialization, and individualized attention. Our goal is to build lasting behaviors through science-based positive reinforcement, ensuring your dog learns with confidence and clarity.

Program Durations & Investment
We offer several program lengths to fit your dog’s goals and your schedule. All programs are designed for dogs 12 months and older.
- K9 to 5 Core Skills – $2800: A 3 week program focusing on basic obedience
- K9 to 5 Academy – $3200: A 4 week program customized for more complex behavior needs in addition to the basics
- K9 to 5 Polite Pup Program – $4000: A 6 week course dedicated to training advanced behaviors, therapy dog, or service dog foundation skills
All programs include follow-up private lessons, written weekly progress reports, take home instructions, and a graduation gift to ensure lasting results.
Board and Train Requirements
To ensure a safe, positive, and successful training experience for all dogs in our care, participants in our Board and Train program must meet the following criteria:
🐾 Temperament & Behavior
- Dog and People Friendly: Your dog must be comfortable around unfamiliar humans and other dogs.
- No History of Aggression or Severe Fear: This program is not suitable for dogs with bite history, resource guarding, or significant behavioral issues such as reactivity or anxiety-based behaviors.
🏥 Health & Wellness
- Up-to-Date on Age-Appropriate Vaccinations: Including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough).
- Current on Flea/Tick and Heartworm Prevention: Proof of recent administration required.
- In Good General Health: Dogs must be free from contagious illnesses, parasites, or untreated injuries. If recently spayed/neutered the dog must be completely healed from procedure and not require a cone.
🐶 Training Readiness
- Completed a Consultation Session: All Board and Train participants must first complete a consultation or private training session to assess fit and readiness.
- Comfortable in a Crate: While we do not use extended crate time, crate training is essential for safety, rest periods, and travel.
- No Separation Anxiety: Dogs must be able to settle calmly when left alone for short periods.
